category-badge-RESOURCESThe Ohio Export Internship Program matches companies with highly motivated undergraduate students who have taken export-focused coursework in preparation for a summer long internship. In the past four years, the Ohio Export Internship Program has generated over $19.5 million in estimated global sales for Ohio companies. During the internships, the students have helped to generate over $500,000 in export sales for their host companies. Of the 83 companies that have participated in this program, 34 have offered internship extensions and 17 have made full-time job offers.

What are the benefits of the Ohio Export Internship Program?

•   Get matched with an export-trained intern that will:
      –   Conduct market-specific research and analysis
      –   Translate marketing materials and order forms
      –   Develop an international marketing plan
      –   Identify new markets
•   Receive continuous program support
•   Improve export readiness
•   Streamline current export processes and procedures
•   Receive a 50% reimbursement for intern wages (up to $3,600)
