The following is a release by Otterbein University regarding their new STEAM Innovation Center located near their campus in Westerville. PolymerOhio is proud to be a partner in this valuable asset to the Central Ohio manufacturing community. Manufacturers will benefit from the resources of the STEAM Innovation Center through a faster-to-market introduction of new products and services and the development of our future workforce, supporting our growth plans and producing increased revenue and new job creation.
This summer, PolymerOhio/OH!Manufacturing will move its offices into the STEAM facility. To find out more about the facility, follow the links in Otterbein’s release below.
Otterbein University announced it is partnering with leading organizations from the private and public sectors in central Ohio to create a new space for hands-on integration of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Approximately 200 people attended the announcement on Friday, Feb. 19 at the Science Center atrium.
The STEAM Innovation Center is the first of its kind in the country offering an entrepreneurial epicenter for creativity and collaboration across disciplines and industries. The new facility will be located at 60 Collegeview Road, on the west side of Otterbein’s campus. Engineering will start classes in the building this fall while business partner PolymerOhio will move into their new space. Ikove Capital Partners will move in during the second or third phase of building construction.
