Tackling the Skills Gap With a New Campaign

A new initiative has launched–announced at the OMA Workforce Summit on November 1, 2017–to address the skills gap issue in Ohio manufacturing and create an industry-driven partnership that will make education and training providers sit up and take notice. Called “Making Ohio: Ohio Manufacturing”, the goal of the campaign is to spark interest in manufacturing careers by providing a portal to available jobs in the industry and the necessary training to secure those positions.
